Our gites are individually named and have individual character restored to the highest of standards leaving you to enjoy your time with us hassle free. Exposed stonework in every room and a wealth of beams overhead adds to the warmth so typical of 'charentaise longére'. All 3 gites can be connected giving 3+3+1 bedrooms option, 3+3 bedrooms option or 3+1 bedrooms option ideal for large family groups, anniversaries and celebrations, the rooms are also equipped with English freeview satelite television for that extra 'home-from-home' touch with WiFi also on the way...

We are ideally located 15 minutes from the St Jean D'Angely paege exit and 1 hour 15 minutes from La Rochelle Airport. Whatever your holiday needs, if it's lazing by the pool, a gentle stroll through the grapevines or maybe visiting one of the famous Cognac houses, your 'vaccance' begins here at 'La Pommeraie'.

Thanks to our microclimate the weather is very warm and sunny, with 2250 hours of sun a year  we are on par with with Provence, whereas London has just 1250 hours.
