The recent extension to our Cognac bathes the dining room in sunshine, but still keeps the gite cool during the warmest of Summer weather.

 French doors open up into the dining room which then leads into the open plan kitchen/ lounge. The kitchen is fully fitted with a double oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The washing machine is located just outside and shared with Beau Geste.

 From the kitchen is the 2nd bedroom (2 single beds) and also the toilet and shower.

The lounge has comfortable furniture, a flat screen tv with,  UK and French free view channels, a DVD player, music hifi and lots of games / toys and books for all ages.

 The main bedroom has a king size bed and complementing furniture. If needed a cot can be added to the main bedroom.  

Do ask if we have other baby / child equipment as we can now provide quite a few items that will lessen the car load.

 As this gite is tucked away at the rear of the building Cognac is great for those who like a little quietness during their stay.   Saying this, it's close to the main play areas and gardens so a great gite to spend time with your children whilst they are checking out the cool things that we have on offer!

 Directly outside the gite is a delightful terrace with an extendable fabric canopy mostly guarded by a bamboo screen. The usual table and chairs along with a charcoal BBQ are here as well.

 For Hundreds of years the Cognac name has been long associated with French history and the local economy. When we bought the buildings during 2004 we found out that the buildings and surrounding land had indeed played it's own part in the local Cognac trade. So as we decorated the gite we scoured local markets to find various interesting Cognac related items for the gite and the grounds.
